I have no time for those who only take to the streets when a wrong is done to a victim of the same religion, religious persuasion, or race as the protestor.
Those who take to the streets with banners only when a person of their own religion, religious persuasion, or race has been wronged, succeed only in demonstrating that they clearly regard non-believers & persons of other religions, religious persuasions or races as inferior and so an injury to those people does not matter.
I have no time for those who remain silent, and who fail to take to the streets in protest when a person of their own religion or religious persuasion kills or injures someone in the name of that religion, irrespective of whether the victim is of the same religion, another religion or a non-believer of any religion.
When you remain silent in the face of evil committed by those who do evil against ANY others in the name of YOUR religion or your God, then it reveals that you CONDONE or APPROVE! If the victim is of another religion, religious persuasion or a non-believer, and you condone or approve by YOUR SILENCE, it shows you think that only people who believe in your religion, or religious persuasion matter.
Remember, all that is needed for EVIL to prevail is for good men to sit idly and DO NOTHING. If your religion, or religious persuasion is relied upon for any evil purpose, and you say nothing, you not only condone by silence, you also bring shame to all that your religion stands for!

They came for the Jews, and since I was not a Jew, I said nothing.
Then they came for the Catholics, and I was not Catholic, so I said nothing.
Then they came for the Gays, and since I was not Gay, I did not object.
Then they came for the Muslims, and since I was not Muslim I did not object.
Then one day, they came for me. And there was no one left to object...
