No Cause for A'Lama

#Political Humour

The South African Government has denied that its failure to issue a Visa for the +Dalai Lama, again.... was the result of any pressure from the Chinese.....

A spokeman denied that the visa for  the Dalai Lama was
refused. It was just not granted timeously due to a regrettable dalai which occurred in the Department of Home Affairs, who were supposed to issue it.

In response to question as to why this keeps happening to the same person (the Dalia Lama was the only World figure not at the funeral of Nelson Mandela) the spokesman said that this was just a most unfortunate coincidence and that there is no cause for aLama.

The discussion above of course relates to the fact that the South African President's friends, the Guptas from India, did not need Visas.  The Guptas simply flew in from India with around 100 guests or so, on a Boeing 777 and landed at  a Military Airport near Pretoria before going to a wedding at Sun City.

I have another solution for the poor Tibetan leader. I have it on good authority that the Guptas' next wedding will be held at Nkandla, the newly upgraded home of the South African President. After hearing of the extent of the renovations (....paid for by the taxpayer...on the grounds that security there needed to be upgraded..) which include a new swimming pool which will double up as a fire pool in the event of  a fire (...hence it also has to do with security.) the Guptas decided not to slum it at Sun City, which is only a five/six star hotel with wave pools, golf courses etc.

So, perhaps the Dalai can sneak aboard the Gupta's 777. Once here, he can pass himself off as a wedding guest, or perhaps even a reserve marriage officer. No Visa should be necessary.

The only problem is that the next wedding date is still up in the air, where the Gupta's plane will remain until the dalai in building Nkandla International Airport on the President's property is cleared up. This will no doubt be blamed on that pesky Public Protector whose Nkandla report is causing waves.

Oh and to prove that the Dalai Lama should not take it personally, the spokesman added, He should know that the report into how the 777 was allowed to land at a military airport (Guptagate) has been daliad and President Zuma himself is doing everything he can to dalai providing a written reply to questions raised about Nkandla by the Public Protector to the Public Protector or Parliament. Update: Almost as if to demonstrate that China will not reward South Africa for ignoring the human rights issues regarding the Dalai Lama & Tibet, China have apparently listed South Africa as the top Ebola destination in South Africa. It is not clear how this came about. Poetic Justice?  Those who lie with the dogs should not be surprised about the sharing of their fleas.
